LUNCH Café offers hearty, healthy fare made from organic whole foods and Alaska ingredients.
The bakery and kitchen are dairy free. Although the espresso bar’s default milk is nut and seed based, we cary a limited amount of dairy products to ensure the happiness of few of our guests who used to smuggle their own milks at the cafe. Following extensive research we chose to carry Organic Valley™ because it is the only true organic product of a dairy co-op farmers owned that treat their cows ethically and humanely.
We serve Diving Duck organic coffee which is roasted on-site.
The kitchen is open to prepare and serve lunch 10-4 everyday.
Happy hour through August 31st: 50% of drip coffee and baked goods everyday between 3 and 5PM
On July 31, Colin Campbell and Morganne Armstrong were involved in a propane explosion in Fairbanks, Alaska. They were medevac’d down to the Seattle Harbor View Burn Unit, where they were medically sedated to help aid in the healing process. Since then they have woken up and are moving, talking, and even joking. The situation however, is serious as they both have 35% body burns and will need skin grafting surgery soon. Morganne worked with us at the Cafe when it was Julia’s. She was fun and a real joy to have around. A few days before the accident Morganne had stopped at LUNCH and shared with us her new ventures as a yoga instructor. She was beautiful as ever and radiant.
